Philosophy
Data Protection
Guiding Principle: Product development or adaptation that: (1) positions clients to create and adhere to a data stewardship policy that protects the enterprise by minimizing risk of data compromise while; (2) creating a user experience that leverages a legal, fair, transparent handling of data, the capture and purpose of which is clearly limited by duration of use and accuracy, to support a standard of accountability that inspires user confidence and allows data handling to create a strategic, business advantage.
Law
Advisory: Contextualize risk advice within upside potential, illustrating the point of diminishing returns, positioning the business to make informed decisions or understand those made on the business’ behalf.
Relationship Management: Choreograph client experiences using a diagnostic approach to address and anticipate issues, assemble teams of subject matter experts, and develop client-centric strategies where the value add is quantifiable and compensable.
Project Management: Identify the problem(s), establish decision-making criteria reflective of those involved and those impacted, assess options and evaluate achievable outcomes, establish metrics for success/failure, assess risk (ethical, reputational, financial, legal, etc.), make a decision, and monitor the outcome, re-calibrating as needed.
Service Leadership
“Never lose.
Either learn, or win and learn.
Always learn.”
Approach: Leadership with the vision to zoom out to provide big picture perspective that accounts for macro considerations (e.g. final product, budgetary considerations, timeline, impactful goals) and zoom in to work along-side, inspire, and learn from the stakeholders that generate and sustain project momentum.
